ENTERAL FEEDING PUMP

Purpose

Originally intended to be a low-cost complement to the client’s high-end enteral feeding pump, its improved performance and aggressive cost reduction caused it to displace the high-end pump. Over 15 years later it continues to be one of the most successful products in the market.

The first ever low-cost programmable outpatient disposable ambulatory infusion pump.

Disposable Ambulatory Pump

Designed for the delivery of intravenous fluids using continuous or intermittent delivery. It easily mounts to a standard hospital pole for accurate, unattended delivery.

Left Ventricular Assist Device

A bearingless fully magnetically levitated implantable centrifugal rotary blood pump.

KEY CHALLENGES: Long-term implantability, a clot-free pumping profile, establish mechanical and electrical safety, and class III implantable device. 

ECLIPSE’S PART: Mechanical, and Electrical Design, safety testing, and system component and accessory design. 

PROJECT RESULTS: Successfully demonstrated safety compliance. European clinical trial. Technology sold to competitor.
